About Kai

Kai Lin has always been in love with creating and expressing herself through her art. Whether it be through painting, drawing, or dancing. Storytelling through filmmaking and production design has become a main form of expression and passion for her. 

 

Prior to her enrollment to the Lasalle College of the Arts, Kai Lin was a graphic designer at ThinkAds!, an advertising agency where she dabbled in video editing, event curation and graphic design. She later became a wedding videographer at AndroidsinBoots, shooting, directing and editing wedding films, and subsequently took on editing jobs under their sister company Optical Films. She continues to curate wedding and pre-wedding films under SunnyKreamCrackers. After enrolling into College, she developed an interest in production design in favour of her eye for detail and interest in aesthetics, and most recently worked with Circles.Life on their sparks life campaign as their Production Designer.

 

Kai Lin enjoys trying her hand at various mediums and telling stories with heart, especially ones blanketed in nostalgia, whimsical visuals and vibrant palettes. Ultimately, she hopes to bring healing to others through her work.
